Terms of Service

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This is a plain-language draft to publish. Review and adapt it to your situation before relying on it. It is not legal advice.

These Terms govern your use of Tamio ("the app", "the service", "we", "us"), subscription software that helps churches manage treasury and secretariat tasks. By creating an account or using Tamio, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Tamio provides administrative software for churches, available on Mac, iPad and iPhone. Features include recording income and expenses, bank deposits, financial reports, member records, minutes, letters and attendance. Tamio is administrative software only; it does not process donations or hold church funds.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to manage the church you register.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Tamio is offered on a monthly or annual subscription, billed per church. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — for example, by attempting to breach its security, using it for unlawful purposes, or storing content you have no right to store. You are responsible for the data you enter and for complying with the laws that apply to your church's records.

6. Your data

Your data is yours. We handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data, and delete your account, from within the app.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Tamio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, improve or change features over time. If we make significant changes to these Terms, we will notify you in the app or by email.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Tamio is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control. Tamio helps you keep records; it does not replace professional accounting, legal or tax advice.

9. Termination

You may stop using Tamio and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are seriously or repeatedly violated.
